This past Mother’s Day, my two sons and I created this painting on canvas:
I used a non-toxic washable paint for their feet, by squirting several colors on a sheet of palette paper and dipping their feet in it. It was pretty easy with our newborn (only 2 tries), but took about 7 tries with our wiggly toddler! The three hearts represent myself and two sons, with a fourth heart around the feet for ‘mama’.
Anyways, thought I would share this, since it’s a fun idea to create footprint paintings with your kids, and a way to remember their foot size at a point in time! Just remember to do it in an area that is easy to clean, and have lots of damp paper towels on hand!
