Every now and then I enjoy adding a digital art effect to my photography by using Adobe Photoshop. The exquisite architecture of the Plaza de España in Sevilla, Spain, is a beautiful representation of the design of the southern Andalucía region of Spain. In this shot, the blue and white tilework is seen as part of a bridge going over the moat.
I’d been thinking I wanted to paint something with a pop of red color in it.
So I went through some photos I have, and came across one that I took in Ibiza, Spain. The shutter and door colors in the original photo are green, so I decided to switch them to red in the painting.
Imagine yourself on a sunny day in the Mediterranean region, exploring winding narrow streets and stairways with fresh flowers in bloom!
The image from this painting is from the Old Town section of Ibiza, Spain. My wife and I visited there in 2004 and then took our honeymoon to Ibiza in 2009!

The famous blue-shaded streets of Chefchaouen, Morocco are enchanting and captivating. Situated in the Rif Mountains, one can walk through the city to sample local goat cheese and purchase intricately woven blankets. Here, Arabic, Spanish and French languages are spoken.
