Things to do in Washington, DC: The Museum of the Bible. I was quoted on RedFin!

Recently I received an email asking if I'd want to be included in an article on the Redfin blog about things to do in Washington, DC!

So I said yes!

This is what I submitted:

"Recently I visited The Museum of the Bible in Washington D.C. with my wife and kids. Having received Jesus in our hearts and having experienced His supernatural loving restoration of our family after we had gone through divorce, visiting The Bible Museum was an awesome way to experience the transformative power of the Bible, and immerse ourselves in incredible Biblical history. The Museum of the Bible is a gem in the nation's capital! Tip - if visiting with young children, plan to visit only one or two floors, as one could easily spend an entire visit on just one floor!"

But, they took Jesus out, in consideration of their wide range of readers (in other words to not offend anyone), and edited it down to this:

"“Recently I visited The Museum of the Bible in Washington D.C. with my wife and kids. Visiting The Bible Museum was an awesome way to immerse ourselves in incredible biblical history. The Museum of the Bible is a gem in the nation’s capital."

Ahhh! It makes me think of when athlete's praise Jesus on live TV, and they edit it out, or when they wear a Jesus shirt, and it gets edited out. I get it. I used to cringe, for many years, when I heard the name Jesus...I thought I was so spiritual. But at a low time when I was brokenhearted, I began to pray to Jesus and my life began to transform.

"And all nations will hate you because you are my followers. But everyone who endures to the end will be saved." Matthew 10:22 NLT

Well, at least I put out a word for The Museum of the Bible, and do appreciate RedFin for publishing the article. Thank you RedFin!!
