I commissioned a painting by Dave of my boss, her husband and their dogs in an historic setting. The painting was a surprise retirement gift so I provided Dave with an assortment of photos of my boss and her husband and we communicated via email.

In fact, I never met Dave in person until I picked up the painting. The final painting was exquisite and exceeded my (and other donors) expectations . Dave captured in the painting what I could not clearly express. He has an artistic gift.

Dave is very easy to work with, a true professional. He also chose a beautiful frame for the painting. On a scale of 1 to 10, the finished work was a 20. I will certainly hire him again.

I reached out to Dave to help with a special anniversary present—a painting of our home. I knew he did fine work based on some of the previous commissions he shares online, but he did an exceptional job giving warmth to our little townhouse. His attention to detail is remarkable. He even included some extra items I requested, like having my dog sitting out front. My dog’s pitch black fur makes him hard to capture even in photos, but Dave seems to have mastered the color palette because he really brought him to life. My wife said it is her new favorite art piece in the house, and I agree. An added bonus is that Dave is just a really nice guy to work with, and he makes it a collaborative process. Highly recommend Dave White. He did a great job with a canvas painting of our new home; it had incredible attention to detail. We asked for a modern/contemporary style and he accommodated no problem. We had a special request to add our cat into the painting (on the porch) and it came out perfectly.
