Potomac River Painting (from the Billy Goat Trail)

The weather has cooled down and the leaves are starting to change, making it great weather for fall season hiking!

This painting is from a photo that I took last year, while hiking the Billy Goat Trail, in Montgomery County, Maryland. The trail is located right across the Potomac River from Great Falls, Virginia.

I went with a group of friends from our church, and we had intended to hike the most difficult part of the trail, but we accidentally started out on the easiest part. Thankfully, this allowed for some beautiful early morning scenes, including this one!
